2006-10-23 10:54 AM Already?!?! I don’t know about you guys, but where I am it is snowing. Big, beautiful, fluffy flurries that are lovely to look at from my nice warm desk.
I am really not ready for this. I know I say it every year and you’d think I’d have come to terms with it by now, but there you have it. All I am really asking, though, is that it not be freezing cold for Trick-or-Treating next week (this is Cleveland after all, so it could very well be in the 90s next week – or tomorrow, for that matter) because I do not relish the idea of taking a 2 year old begging for candy when it’s too cold to exist. Plus – physical discomfort aside, she has such a cute costume (Dora the Explorer - she looks enough like Dora that we pretty much just had to get her a backpack and a monkey) that I would hate for her not to be able to use it to get (us) some free candy. So listen up, Snow. Hear me now and believe me later – you can be cute and fluffy today if you must. But then try to hold off for another week. After that you can pretty much have your way with me until February, when I will start bitching again.
