A Little Light Reading

Welp, another work day is nearly at its close. I have managed to make several people unhappy by sending them bills that they can’t pay because they spent too much on Christmas presents in a feeble attempt to make up for the fact that they have completely screwed up their kids. I have rearranged my office yet again in what is becoming a daily struggle to figure out where the HELL things go. I have eaten a veggie burger and visited the water cooler (nobody was there with whom I could share my feelings about the weather – I just got water and went back to my desk). I have gotten all excited when I remembered that The Ditty Bops use a mandolin in many of their songs and decided that I need to learn to play “Walk or Ride”. Maybe I will even be able to play and sing at the same time. Lord knows* I can’t sing and play the violin at he same time. But I can walk and chew gum so that has to count for something.

* And by “Lord”, I suppose I mean The Man

I meant to read The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay, but then McG sent me
this link and that became my lunch break instead.

I pass it on to you a) because I wish to reassure you that the world is indeed full of beauty and light, and a place that has such wonderful things in it can’t possibly be all bad; and 2) because the rest of his entries aren’t too shabby either.

So, enjoy, dear readers. But not so much that you forget to come back and check me out once in a while.

I’m back to my rearranging now. How about you?
