Okay. This must be the season for memes, and as usual, I am slow to post. Anyone without a site, you are welcome to post your list of 52 here. The following is my 52 Meme:
1. First name? Irene
2. Were you named after anyone? My mother’s stepmother, whom she loathed. Beats me. Hence, Reenie.
3. Do you wish on stars? My stars, yes!
4. When did you last cry? I cry every day, whether they are glad or sad tears. It just happens – it’s just me.
5. Do you like your handwriting? Yes. It’s a fairly stylized combo of printing and cursive.
6. What is your favorite lunchmeat? Italian turkey.
7. What is your birth date? November 14, 1947
8. What is your most favorite album? I like anything by Van Morrison or Cat Stevens, and contemporary Hispanic artists, though I don’t know any Spanish beyond “El Pollo Loco.”
9. Favorite Jewelry? Wedding bands
10. Do you have a journal? Helloooooo. Where are you?
11. Do you use sarcasm a lot? Is this a rhetorical question?
12. What are your nicknames? Reenie, Beanie, Reenie-Beanie, Mom, Beansta
13. Would you bungee jump? No way. I don’t even like trampolines.
14. Do you untie your shoes when you take them off? I push them off.
15. Do you think that you are strong? Because I am a gym rat, I am physically strong. My emotional mettle? I think I’m fragile, others find me strong.
16. What is your favorite ice cream flavor? Pumpkin. I know that’s odd, but I had some freshly made at Cornell one year and nothing has measured up to it since. Oh yum! Otherwise, I rarely eat ice cream.
17. Shoe Size? 9 1/2 (Hey! Stop snickering!)

19. What is your least favorite thing about yourself? Sorry, I kinda like myself. If I had to pick something, it’s probably that my sensitivity is a double-edged sword.
20. What do you like most about yourself? I am generous and very forgiving. I think I’m funny too.

22. What color pants and shoes are you wearing? Gray sweatpants with paintbrush strokes of all kinds of colors – I sometimes wipe my paintbrushes on my pants. Tan colored Uggs.
23. What are you listening to right now? The quiet of pre-dawn.
24. Last thing you ate? Homemade Peruvian chicken. A long & delightful story I plan to post someday.

26. What is the weather like right now? Overcast, sprinkles

28. The first thing you notice about the opposite sex? General countenance - sense of self
