Springing to Action!

Today started out pretty rough, but has ended splendidly. Some dear, dear friends came to my rescue and my heart soars with gratitude. I sometimes get sucked into the drama vortex, but some people live in it and wallow in it and thrive on it because they are addicted to it. Drama - bleh. I yanked myself out today and am pretty proud of myself and my good health! This weekend was so very sad for me, but I get stronger each day, especially with the support of friends. Today was a major turning point. I've let go of some people. My heart feels free and harbors no resentment, because my life has no more room for sorrow. I've used my quota there, too.

I also sent some flowers to a dear friend who is battling cancer. Some worries and sorrows don't go away.

Anyway, below are some springtime pics of my property. It's simply glorious here.

Sending my best wishes for springtime glory for you, too.

Front Entrance. I saved the ferns and geraniums in my garage this winter and they survived!

Another front shot that kinda shows the Vinca I planted last spring that has come back fully and spreading. Yahoo!

Some of the new Azaleas I replaced. I lost 25 shrubs to last year's freak frost.

The new Japanese Maple to replace the one I lost last year.

The filled birdbath. I have to tend it because the deer nearly nudge it off its axe-hewn pedestal.

You can barely see the volunteer Dogwood in my woods. They are spectacular.
