2008-09-11 7:40 PM I'm Seeing Life Through New Eyes Well, kinda-sorta.
The past few months have been tough with my arthritis. Yesterday my doctor gave me new meds, which didn't do a lick of good until today, and now I feel like a new person - seeing life through new eyes. Well, kinda-sorta. I went to Wal-Mart today for an eye examination and new lenses. I'm keeping the old frames. I decided to document my odyssey back up the mountain.BTW, when you get to the road photos, I'm taking pics with my hand out the window. :) Cowan - A small town on the way home from Wal-Mart. See the mountain in the distance? The Corner House - A favorite restaurant in Cowan About to start climbing the mountain There are many, many twists and turns going up the mountain. Here are but a few: < Approaching The Domain Nearing the top Next Stop Headed home - Bewteen Sewanee & Monteagle Monteagle *city* limits Johnny waving me through the gate at Clifftops (yeah, I'm one of those) Driving through Clifftops The crossroads The road toward my home My driveway Home at last!
