Someday soon I will get back to my little essays of observation, but I’ve gotten on the strangest schedule. My sleep patterns are way off despite the fact I get plenty of sleep.

The biggest news for me since Fred Thompson dropped out of the race (he did, didn’t he?) is that Smartiplants is back at JS. Poor thing… she purports that she missed us. Hmmm, or did she tell me she was kicked out of her former blog home. No matter what, I’m glad Nan is back. Be sure to go over and say *howdy* – the link is above. (btw, Nan, I was tickled to see you over at Cary’s place. You'll see Daisy there too and lots of other funny people.)

I stayed home today and by all appearances (photo way below) it looks like my to-do list included messing up my office again. This is the last time I’ll post a shot of it – but that’s how fast the turnaround is for my floor shelves to start getting full. *rolling eyes*

I swear I lose an hour of sunlight by living in the woods. I’m not aware of it until I happen to drive out at *dusk* and discover the sun still has an hour of two of sky time. I still like it here about as best as any other place in the universe I can think of.

It got too dark on the front porch so…


I moved to the back porch. This is the photo I used today for 365Envisage. (And yes, for all you smart alecks, I did change clothes. Busted. I wore different clothes for the front porch shot, because I couldn't bear to be seen wearing the same stuff over and over again. I give up. I don’t care.)
