Yay! I sold a painting today!

Oops. There's an empty spot that needs filling. Heh.

Usually my paintings sell in galleries, but today a woman called and asked if I had any others she and her husband might look at. To loosely quote, "Why yes, my dear, come into my parlor said the spider to the fly."

The couple are significant collectors in the region and are installing the painting in a renovated area of their home in The Assembly (WooT - an historical fancy-pants community on the mountain). Yay for major promotional exposure. I gave them a discount, less what the gallery would've taken. (They went back to the gallery to check again and wanted the one in my home.) They were happy, I was happy.
