2008-10-09 2:11 PM Flower Arranging Today I volunteered at St. Mary's. Tomorrow is the beginning of a 3-day retreat called Finding the Sacred in Ordinary Time. It will focus on ways in which we can become more attentive to the presence of the Holy in the routines of our lives. The retreat is going to be in the Benedictine style - shaped around saying the daily office together; gathering for teaching, guided reflection, and discussion. There will also be ample time for silence and reflection. As many of you know, St. Mary’s is dear to me and the opportunities to enter retreat are a gift.
The road to St. Mary's About to create flower arrangements to place throughout the building... that is after I finish my apple. :) Read/Post Comments (5) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
