Today’s photo was taken with some friends at a local truck stop that offers Chinese food and optional showers. I call it Shan’s & Shower.

It’s been a long and fruitful weekend and this week the pace will increase. I’m working at Julia’s Kitchen making zillions of appetizers because of events she’s working for the upcoming Homecoming weekend at Sewanee. My son and his family arrive on Thursday and their eldest who is nine will be staying with me. I’m very excited with lots of grandma planning. One evening we are attending a local dinner playhouse to see a play called *You’re a Good Sport Charlie Brown* or something like that. Pumpkin shopping and carving and baking and other activities should keep us rolling.

I’d better get my rest. Nighty-night. xoxo
