I scurried around some more today preparing for the arrival of my son and his family. His eldest will be staying with me for a few days and I am thrilled!

Tonight I attended a lovely event in a friend’s home where a husband/wife team from Romania gave a presentation of their work there. Actually, he’s American. They travel the states once each year for fundraising for the AA chapters and education they promote as well as the orphanage she runs. Their work is daunting and I did make a donation, but I’m always reminded of the great needs in our own country.
