2008-10-28 10:07 AM Seven Random Things I Love In a time with so much negativity and spite and war and tension and elections and then more spite, I was delighted to read Daisy’s blog, which invited her readers to list: Seven Random Things I Love. This was a difficult task because I love my life. I know I'm fortunate and endeavor, daily, to share my blessings. I try to make little room in my life for whining or negativity because gratitude feels better. I try to surround myself with kind and intelligent and generous and thoughtful people who inspire me to be the same. This list is really random because I love so many people & random things in my life:
So here goes with my random list: 1. I love my bed, which overflows with fluffy down: 2. I love my coffee: 3. I love my friends & family. This is a recent photo of a group I meet with every Monday evening. They are amazing and wonderful women. That evening we gathered for a birthday. We also gathered in sorrowful gratitude because we were told by one of these beautiful women that she is dying with end stage cancer. 4. I love my various collections, which are vast and include these hearts: 5. I love my plants, which I hauled in last night and have yet to relocate indoors: 6. I love my art - collected art as well as my own. This is a tiny glimpse: By Robert Short Prayer Flags by Kate Duncan Print by Laurie O’Hare By Irene Fulton Various objects from around the world 7. I love myself: Yikes! I’d better get to work relocating those plants! xoxo Read/Post Comments (13) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
