REENIE'S REACH

Today was Project Plant Day. I gently washed the accumulation of summer grit and pollen from the leaves of all my philodendron plants before I tucked them around the house. My 8' ladder had me doing some variations of Cirque de Soleil stunts during the relocation process, which was insane given my awful sense of balance. I'll probably post some plant pics tomorrow.

I'm eating a delicious piece of birthday cake (gee, maybe I can grow another chin to add to the two I already have) to celebrate a friend's birthday.

I gave the birthday girl a gift of a ceramic birthday cake with one candle. A friend of mine in Laguna Beach makes them and it seemed so perfect for the occasion.

My day was especially nice. Hope yours was too.
