The Great Caper Push Barney's P***S My New Security System		2009-10-20 5:25 PM Retreating I've just returned from St. Mary's where I attended a 3 day Centering Prayer Retreat. The sessions emphasized the relationship between Centering Prayer and 11th Step work, which involves prayer and meditation. For me and many others, it's a spiritual connection and not a religious one. Attached is a photo of the view we had the past few days - it is about 8 miles from my home and I spend a lot of time here as a retreatant or a volunteer.
