Perfection

I've made it to The Mountain. I'm home.

I used to hunger for a perfect day. Do you know what I mean by a perfect day? It's a day when everything is perfect. They rarely happen if you think about it. I'm talking about days that are completely void of road rage, an unexpected bill, inconvenient weather, a sullen clerk in any store, a fender bender, a headache... I'm talking about perfect. Well, today I had a perfect day. Actually, I've had a lot of perfect days lately.

I had my second visit with my psychologist who specializes in people like me who have a serious illnesses... interestingly, we've never talked about my illness. Boy howdy, these people are sly.

I won't go into details because they are too personal, but rest assured not seedy... but my therapist is helping me mop up my life - and it's been so cool. With every swipe of the mop, another perfect day appears.

Anyway, wanted to let you know that I'm home. It was with such gratitude that I entered my home and was reintroduced to its beauty. I'm so glad to be here. It's perfect.

Below is the photo I referenced in an earlier post - one of my mother... Gershwin's love child. Isn't she simply perfect?
