2014-10-27 11:17 AM Priority Mail Just received a call from Cleveland Clinic. It's so interesting that last week I gave just one teeny-tiny poke to get everyone's attention... and it worked!
**** Friday afternoon I went to my local post office. Nowadays, the moment I walk in it's like slipping through the flaps of a revival tent. Mary Ellen is all about praise & prayer. When she saw the small padded envelope I'd been given to send the disk with my heart catheterization, she cocked her head, let her eyebrows dance around a bit, and suggested additional packaging. So, my medical information arrived at Cleveland Clinic this morning in an 8x8x8 (approximate) fire engine red box. All that was missing was a siren. The other day as Mary Ellen taped up my package, I hid my reluctance. Not only was the box big, it was a bit flashy. When she ran out of tape, she announced, "This should get their attention." Gulp. And it did! The information has already been reviewed and per this morning's call, more information was requested... the all-important PRA test results. *sigh* I have no idea why that hadn't been included when my other records were sent on 9/28. The PRAs are the entire reason my compass is now pointed toward Cleveland, Ohio. No matter. All is good because I called Vanderbilt's Transplant office and the records were faxed while I was on the phone... slam dunk! Um, in deference to baseball's World Series... Home run! ***** BTW, my back is much much much better. Still being cautious. ***** Here's another just acquired addition to my collection. I'm into vintage carvings. This one is coming from Ontario, Canada. Carved Duck 9 1/2" high, 9 3/4" long, 8" wide Read/Post Comments (14) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
