2003-07-16 11:08 AM C++ on Windows... Yummy Previous Entry :: Next Entry Read/Post Comments (0) So I've been fiddling recently with C and C++ again, possibly looking to do some custom tag Development for ColdFusion once I start my new job.
I've run across a really great open source and free Win32 Compiler: Dev-C++ which doesn't have the MFC part of Visual-C++ as far as I can find, but it's otherwise a very cool free Win32 IDE with completely transparent gcc integration. The lack of MFC may eventually drive me away from it, but if you're building DLLs or windowed apps and you don't mind re-inventing the wheel by building your own windows->C++ binding it's great.
