NICE, France -- The bride wore black, which in this case was fitting since the groom was dead.
A 35-year-old woman in France married her dead boyfriend Tuesday -- after receiving the go-ahead from French President Jacques Chirac.
Under French law, a marriage between a living person and a dead person can take place -- as long as there have been the civic formalities ahead of time that showed the couple had planned to marry. And the French president has to approve it.
