Found this interesting tidbit on John Shirley's message board the other day. I don't agree with everything this guy is saying, but he makes some interesting points. Oceania, here we come!

Got "Wake Up Call" back from F&SF after a week and a half. One thing I'll say for Gordon (or his assistant in this case), when they reject your story, they do it quick. No waiting around for six months, sending out multiple letters asking if they received it yet. They get your story, read it, decide whether they want it or not, then if not, send it right back so you can send it somewhere else. I respect that. I sent the story to SciFi.com on Monday. Maybe Ellen Datlow will like it.

Finished second draft of "Book Storey" and will get it critiqued this Sunday by the Revisionaries. I'll send it out Monday, for better or worse, to the DreamHaven anthology.
