2002-04-18 9:26 AM Busted Stuff |
I was reading in the latest Rolling Stone last night that the Dave Matthews Band is putting out Busted Stuff, which was scrapped soon after it was recorded in the spring of 2000. They didn't feel like the album represented where they wanted their music to progress to, so they hired Glen Ballard and recorded Everyday instead. The Busted Stuff recordings produced by Steve Lillywhite, known by fans as The Lillywhite Sessions, made their way onto the internet after the Dave Matthews Band decided not to use them for their last record. I got a copy from a friend of mine around six months ago, and it blew my mind that it never got released originally. There are some really good songs in there. So, Dave Matthews decided to rerecord all the songs, including a few new ones, and release the album in an official version later this year. Yay.
Got 500 words down for Chapter 5 last night. I wanted to work on Chapter 2 (which I momentarily skipped over, since it takes place in the past), but the words just didn't want to come, so I worked on Chapter 5 instead. I think I can, I think I can. Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
