I spent the night getting laundry done and everything packed (except for some last-minute toiletries for tomorrow morning). I'm stoked.

I bought my squirt gun today. I am so ready.

And in a weird twist of fate, my copy of Sweet and Sour Tongue by Leslie What (the last book by a Clarion teacher I needed before leaving) came in the mail today, stuffed under my front mat. This, after I had resigned myself to having to try and find a copy up in Michigan because I thought I wouldn't get it in time (Quail Ridge Books said it would take at least three weeks to order it, but Booksense proved them wrong). So now I have a book by each of the teachers at Clarion. Yay!

So from now on, if you want see what I'm up to, you'll have to go to my Clarion journal. I'll be writing in that one from now until I get back, on as close to a regular basis as I can manage.

I probably won't get any sleep tonight. I can't believe I leave tomorrow!
