An addendum to last night's post: Being There was filmed at the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, NC. My mother emailed me today with the information; I already knew it but forgot to put it in the post. Biltmore is an amazing house, and is really beautiful during Christmas. It was neat to see Peter Sellers walking freely through rooms which had velvet ropes when I visited.

Not much to say today. Five us went to a coffeshop on Grand River (not The Blue Note), a more upscale place like Starbucks or Caribou Coffee. I critiqued the stories for today and drank a Chai Chiller, which is like a frappachino, but using chai instead of coffee.

I checked out Lena's new laptop from Gateway, which just arrived today. It was silver and very shiny. She showed me all sorts of things about an anime called Cowboy Bebop, and got me so interested that I want to see it now.

I tried out my hand-held super-soaker this afternoon. Good range. Heh heh. Approach if you dare.
