Exciting Jonathan Carroll news: today I went to Borders and it looks like I'll be able to get a copy of White Apples in just a few days! I thought I was going to have to wait at least another month. Yay! I can almost feel the new book in my hands.

Also, yesterday, I finally got in the mail the copy of A Child Across the Sky that I bought on half.com for the lowest price at which I've ever seen it. It was the hardest of Carroll's books to find, and the last one I needed. I now have all of the books he has written, except for the new one, of course. So, I need to read Child, From the Teeth of Angels, and Bones of the Moon, as well as White Apples before Carroll comes to Quail Ridge Books on November 14 for the Apples book tour. Then, I'll have read them all. Mwah-ha-ha!

Then in December, Carroll, along with many, many of my favorite writers, will have short stories in Conjuctions:39, The New Wave Fabulists. It's an exciting time to be a Carroll fan.
