Two Plays for Voices

My fingers were starting to furrow and get slightly greyish from the metal of the jigsaw ring Janet included with my birthday present, so this morning I undid the complicated knot on the necklace that holds my libra and celtic weave symbols, and slipped the ring onto it. It looks like I'm wearing dog tags now.

I've been listening to Two Plays for Voices this morning, two radio plays that Neil Gaiman wrote for the Seeing Ear Theater on scifi.com, based on two of his short stories. One is "Snow, Glass, Apples", a really creepy retelling of Snow White starring Bebe Neuwirth, and the other is "Murder Mysteries", which concerns angels and the first murder and stars Brian Dennehy. I was astonished to actually see Two Plays on CD at Borders yesterday, so I got it, and have been really enjoying it.

It's raining buckets right now; it looks like we're in the middle of a rain forest. I can hear the drops pounding into the roof of my office building as a continuous low roar. I really wish I'd brought my lunch today.
