It took me a little while, but I have now transferred every single journal entry over here to Journalscape. The archives go back to May of 2001, so if you're curious, take a peek. Man, my eyes hurt.

Work has been very busy lately. Last week, my supervisor Chris Rogers was let go after working at ES for over 10 years. I don't know all the reasons, but his absence has really been felt. He knows more than I ever will about drafting and sheet metal assembly. Since we shared an office, it's really quiet and lonely now. I hope he's doing okay; I'm going to call him tonight.

Currently listening to Live in Japan by the Brian Setzer Orchestra. The songs were ripped from the DVD then converted to MP3, and my friend John downloaded them onto a CD for me. It's a good concert; there's stuff with both his orchestra and his rockabilly trio, all the hits.

I was just looking at the resolutions I made at the beginning of the year, and realized that I've accomplished most of them. I lost weight (only fifteen pounds due to the mono episode in August, but that's not shabby, and I've managed to keep it off) and found a steady girlfriend (a big hell yeah for this one, thank God for Clarion). I won't finish An American Symphony by the end of the year, but that's okay. If I'm still struggling with it by the time I start grad school next Fall, I'll use it for my Master's Thesis, which gives even more incentive to finish it. Hey, two out of three ain't bad.

Since I'll be at my parents' house tomorrow for Thanksgiving, I'll wish everyone a Happy Turkey Day now. Hope you all eat lots of food, play lots of board games, then pass out around five o'clock.
