It's snowing! Yay!

I left work early since I had run out of things to do, and the inclement bad weather was imminent (hmmm...imminent inclement). I got home around 2:15 when it started sleeting. I opened all the blinds and jumped around when it started snowing. First it was flurries, then it started coming down in big fat clumps of white stuff. Yay! I love snow! I wonder if I'll be able to go in to work tomorrow.

I finished up "King of the Traffic Lights" last night and emailed it off to Janet for her perusal. She said she'd send back comments tonight after resting her eyes (she's been working on a book cover for the last couple of days, for the last few weeks actually, and her peepers are tired).

I've got a few stories I need to get to next. "Looking for Zuzu's Petals" is a Christmas story that involves Mary, the bookseller from "Book Storey" and the way she meets her husband. The-No-Longer-Norse-Valhalla Story is my other favorite from Clarion (in addition to "One Less") and is currently without a new title. "Counting Tiles" is my mainstream tale about a woman who gets in a serious motorcycle accident and starts experiencing her memories out of order. "Cramps" is an idea that Janet and I came up with one night on the phone, where convicted male criminals give up the use of their bodies once a month to women going through their periods in an effort to lesson their sentences. And the novel, An American Symphony, which constantly nags at me to get back to work on it. I'll be busy for a while.

I am so glad I went to the grocery store last night. Yay snow!
