As I was looking in my inbox this morning, I noticed an email from John Klima at Electric Velocipede, to whom I'd sent my short-short, "Songstress". As I opened the message, bracing myself for yet one more rejection, my eyes widened and my heartbeat sped up as I saw that he'd accepted the story! WOO! He's not sure yet which issue it'll be in, but it sounds like it'll be sometime this year. Ha ha!

EV is a cool little zine, and three of my fellow Clarionites have been or will be published in its pages. I'm going to get some back issues right now.

Man, I just cannot stop smiling this morning. Yay!
