I never thought of it this way, but I've discovered that journaling sometimes can be a good dry run for actually, gasp, talking to other real people.

No, not just make-believe friends, but real, honest-to-god human beings.

I've had the opportunity to actually have some rather important conversations with some people, after giving it some more thought and working some of it out here. I know journaling normally is actually supposed to do that sort of thing, but I didn't actually expect blogging to, especially because that wasn't really the point of this little virtual space.

But I'm not going to look a gift horse in the mouth.

It's good when you can be honest with people.
