2004-04-13 1:47 PM English as a Foreign Language I'm having one of those days.
I wrote a short-short story yesterday that I really like. I think it would make one hell of a short story. (It obviously needs expanding and a little more flesh on the bones.) It's a lovely idea. I really want to write it. And I'll be damned if I can wrap my mind around how to do it. Sigh. There are some days when I wonder why I think I can write. The words aren't there. Every avenue of approach into a story is full of plain prose, idiotic information flow and sentences of a sixth grade calibre. Grrr. Days like this are the writer's worst nightmare. I'll just have to tough it out. Sorry to whine . . . Joseph Haines, signing off from The Edge of The Abyss. Read/Post Comments (6) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
