Well, as of yesterday I've been journaling here at Journalscape for a year now.

In the past year, I've gone to the Oregon Coast Professional Fiction Writers Workshop, sold ten new stories, reconnected with family members I haven't heard from in years (in some cases over a decade) and thoroughly enjoyed the interaction I've gotten from those of you who read this journal on a regular basis.

In that time, we've cheered each other on and continued to move forward. This journal was quoted by Cecil Adams at "The Straight Dope." We've learned a lot about each other and there's even more to come.

Thank you all who visit here and for taking the time to comment when you get a chance. I've enjoyed your arguments and your cheering and your support and it means the world to me to know that you are out there listening. (And just a note for those of you who are new here.
