2004-09-13 11:21 AM Linguini Legs Well, I can't walk without experiencing massive pain in my legs, but eighty percent of the heavy lifting from the move is over.
But you know what? Sitting at my desk while writing with a view of the Space Needle a simple headturn away makes all the pain worth it. I took pictures of the view last night, when the city was lit up and filling my view with hundreds of twinkling lights. Since I don't have a digital camera though, you're gonna have to wait a few days. The only downside to the new place is that we're gonna go broke eating out if we're not careful. Within a few blocks are many, many Thai restaurants, two sushi bars, a Dillitante Chocolate store with indoor cafe' and desserts of the kind that add ten pounds just in the viewing. Right next door is an Irish pub and a bar/laundry. Life is good. Joseph Haines, signing off from The Edge of the Abyss. Read/Post Comments (2) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
