On the writing front, a REALLY GOOD MAGAZINE responded to a fiction submission with a request for a rewrite. They were very specific and called the story, "lovely, subtle, and heartbreaking."

They went on to say, "We do have a few minor points we'd like to mention, and if you think a rewrite is in order we'd be thrilled to see it back in our mailbox soon."

And no, I'm not mentioning the name of the magazine until it actually sells, but it's a new magazine who's first issue contained stories by Gene Wolfe, Jay Lake, John Meany and Walter John Williams."

All the points they made were right on the money, and the rewrite is now back with them. Everyone keep your fingers crossed for me!
