2005-09-22 2:23 PM That Glorious Moment If you've never been addicted to something, you won't understand this:
Today marked the first time I've had that glorious moment of forgetting that I smoked. I woke up this morning, went about my business, got to work, made it all the way to eleven-twenty when my co-worker looked at me and said, "Hey Joe, I'm gonna go down for a smoke." Only then did the existence of cigarettes enter my mind. I'd managed to forget all about them for the entire morning until someone else reminded me that yes, they still exist. Like I said, if you've never spent your life planning your day around the next time you'll be able to get a fix, you probably won't understand this entry. But to me, it's been a glorious morning.
