2007-09-12 6:37 AM Another Day One more closer to being back in Seattle. You know, I was going through some old posts today and found one swearing I'd never move back to Seattle. In retrospect, it would have been impossible for me to feel at home in Seattle while on that trip. Everything got so screwed up I couldn't separate the stress of the trip from the city.
And, it turns out, the house we got in Bremerton isn't exactly going to work for us. We're going to stay out our six month lease, then look for a place up on Capitol Hill. That's our neighborhood, and that's where we need to be. But no matter where I'm at in Seattle, I'll be fine because, well, it's home. Even if I don't get to see my friends there as often as I'd like, or even if it rains every day for two months once I get back, it's as familiar as my own face. And I need that. I need home. Talk to you soon. Joseph Haines, signing off from The Edge of the Abyss. Read/Post Comments (1) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
