I made it to the first panel on Friday morning, despite getting very little sleep yet again. I didn't write. I didn't even read. Just got back to my room late and collapsed. There were some good panels today. I skipped one set of panels to have lunch in the coffee shop with some guys from New York. I grew up on Long Island, so this was fun.
It was coffee shop was so-so. Imagine a Denny's with higher prices and prettier waitresses. I had a decent turkey sandwich with not-so-decent fries. But the conversation was good.
Novel Dare Update -- No writing. Damn! I kept trying to break away, and spend some alone time in my room writing. It just never happened.
