Things are starting off well. I was tired at work today because I suffered my usual Monday night insomnia. But I shut down and opened the laptop for an hour before leaving San Francisco. I thought about it, and decided that when I leave the City around 4pm, the train is crowded and I usually nod off. By the time I reach Dublin I am groggy and I can't easily shift back into writing mode. By staying at my desk I was able to knock out close to 1000 words and then ride home on a less crowded train and read. Then: Home and late dinner, kiss son goodnight, a quick blog entry and bed.
