2005-11-09 9:13 PM Chronic Fatigue and NaNoWriMo - Day 9 Mood: Ecstatic, but Tired Read/Post Comments (0) |
I was so tired all day, it was all I could do to keep my eyes open. I slept on the train going into San Francisco. I was nodding off at my desk all day. And I slept again on the train ride home. Went to Barnes and Noble in Dublin again. No MILFs. No NaNoWriMos. But it was quiet, I got a second wind and I wrote most of three really good scenes, and I'm on a roll! The key to getting a novel written really is to work on it EVERY DAY. It's a must, an absolutel necessity. I knew that already, but it's always nice when it proves itself again. And the result is some great scenes. I finished reading THE CATCHER IN THE RYE. It's almost as if I'd never read it. I didn't remember too much. But I liked the book. I'm glad I read it again, and I plan to read another classic soon. Meanwhile, at the urging of Rob (a guy I work with), I am picking up POINT OF IMPACT, which Rob lent me and has been strongly suggesting that I read.
