So it will be Boston and Colorado in the World Series. Should be a good contest. Colorado tearing on a hot win streak (21 of 22), while the Red Sox pounded 30 runs in their last three games. The Rockies are great. The Sox are great. Could it come down to home field advantage? Hard to say. I'm pulling for the Rockies.

An interesting week ahead for me. Work has slowed to a more acceptable pace, so I have time to catch up on project work that has been too long delayed. I've taken off Wed, Thu, and Fri this week, so I can train for my test on Friday night. We're going to see Brice Springsteen and the E Street Band in Oakland on Thursday night.

The 49ers and the Raiders are finding new ways to look lousy. Meanwhile, the 49ers management/ownership are thinking about buying Great America. The Raiders actually sold out yesterday, so we got to watch the game. Timely, because I would rather have seen the Patriots. Or even the Cowboys.

Cat stories: Willow (the esacpe artist) got out aagin. Opened the bedroom door, then the front door. Leo and Sam followed her. Sam (the 16 pounder) didn't get far. I tracked down Willow. But Leo is hiding somewhere. He will probably show up around dinner time.
