The great QB deabte has started again. I don't blame Scott Ostler. He's one of the best writers, and I enjoy his columns. Why he opened this can of worm again, I don't know, but it brought the fans out of the woodwork. Read them here.
Without going into the whole debate of Montana vs. Brady, who has more rings, who had better receivers, who had better offensive lines, who faced meaner defenses, who had better coaching, who made "The Catch" whatever.... I'm just going to say this. I love Montana. I love Bradshaw, Brady, Unitas, Favre, Manning, Manning, Marino, Elway, and on and on. They were all great in their own way. But why doesn't anyone mention Steve Young. He is definitely among the best. And whatever you want to say about any legendary NFL quarterback, Steve did one thing that not one of them did.
