JOB SEARCH
Not very optimistic or inspiring. Things are bad. There aren't many jobs I qualify for, and for those that I do qualify for, there are more qualified people also looking.
I'm thinking about taking some tech courses ... but what?
I'm also considering a new line of work ... but what?

GUITAR
I've had to temporarily suspend my guitar lessons. Today was my first Tuesday without meeting with Tom. I miss it! I'm still playing, though.

SURGERY
Finally recovered from my minor surgery. I had my gall bladder out and also had umbilical hernia repair. I started training again yesterday after three weeks of non-activity. In some ways, I feel like I am starting all over again. The good news is that I actually lost some weight. I'm back below 200 pounds. I'm working up to my daily regimen of pushups and situps.

WRITING
Surprisingly, I am not finding more time to write being unemployed. Life has a way of taking over.
