The word count is up again. But it just occured to me that it's not really showing progress. That is, how does anyone who sees it know how many words since the last time they checked?

So, I may alter is somehow.

By the way, it's up about 1200 words after tonight's efforts. I am into Chapter 16, but one scene I wrote will be the first scene in Chapter 17, so ...

In other news, the job market is still dismal. I have strted taking some tech course -- to improve my skill base, to giveme something constructive to do, and to get me out of the house two nights per week.

Grandpa still whistles incessantly. Yesterday, he added a new song to his playlist: JUST A GIGIOLO.

Ben came in earlier and asked me: "How do you use 'large-scale' in a sentence?"

For some reason, I was really tired today. After running, exercising, washing the car, having lunch at Appleby's with Mary and our friend Pauline, taking Ben to the doctor, I tried to finish a book, and ended up sleeping for two hours. And having really weird dreams.
