Two gentlemen leave the pub at closing and a little more than "lit". While walking home, they pass by a pile of bricks under a street light. The 1st gentleman, by somewhat competitive, say the the 2nd man " I'll wager I can heave a brick higher into the air than you can". The 2nd man takes the wager and heaves a brick into the air, halfway reaching the streetlight. The 1st man picks up a brick and heaves it and it almost reaches the light. The second man, not to be outdone, grabs another brick and heaves it. It goes up past the streetlight and into the darkness for two seconds and comes crashing back to earth. The 1st man decides he will settle this once and for all. He geabs a brick and winds up and with all his might he gives it a mighty heave. The brick passes the light into darkness and they wait for it to come back down. They wait and wait and wait but the brick is never seen again.
