Tonight was senior ceremony for Delta Zeta. Without relating all the giggles and tears of the night, there is only one goal of this entry: To express the love and sisterhood that was in one little room in the Unversity building. By the end of the night there was no one on this earth that could have entered that room and even insinuated anything bad about a sister or Delta Zeta without getting mauled as a result. As we stood together in perfect unity, the light glistening off the tears that trailed down so many faces and sang "The Rose" there was no other place I would rather have been. I have never heard our creed said so loudly with so much pride in the four semesters I have been with Delta Zeta. Goose bumps ran down my arms and legs and I knew this was what movie scripts are wrote about. Only the love, compassion, and sisterhood that existed in that room could never be expressed on a Hollywood screen. Such emotions can only be experienced in your heart and in the loving embrace of someone who has changed your life.

Not the hug of someone who wants to change you, but the embrace of someone who saw the potential in you, and with gentle smiles and laughter brought out the qualities within you that you never knew existed. "So we fix our eyes not on what is seen but what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal." And such is the love and bond that was shared between the sisters of the Delta Zeta. It is clear that even when we are hundreds of miles apart and cannot see the smile of a sister, the love of a sister cannot be weakened by time or space.

Sisters all we stand together, through the good times and the bad. And we learn to help each other when a sisters feeling sad. Just remember even when our college days come to a close, Delta Zeta lives forever in her golden lamp and rose.
