It's amazing what a good unbroken night's sleep can do for you. Marc slept from 10 until 5:30 and then went back to sleep until 7:30. I woke up this morning feeling wonderful. I found myself singing along with the radio, excited about the day. Even though I'm just at work, I'm still in a good mood. I'm looking forward to Christmas shopping this weekend, which I usually hate.

By a strange twist of fate we ended up with nothing to do on Christmas day. Usually we have to go to 2 Christmases in addition to whatever we want to do alone. This year, the 2 family events will be on the 23rd and 26th. So, my brother-in-law and his girlfriend will spend Christmas night at our house since the event on the 26th is near us. Since they'll already be over, I decided to have my own Christmas dinner. We invited my mother-in-law and stepfather-in-law over too and it'll give me an excuse to use our china for the first time. For anyone that knows me, this is WAY out of character. LOL I usually cook about once a month and I am very NOT domestic. But I thought this year it might be fun. I'm not religious, but I still enjoy getting the chance to spend time with family.
