Looks like he's right on target for 18 months old, if not a little advanced in a few areas. Since the page was for 12-24 year olds, there were boxes for vocabulary size which inspired me to write down all the words he knows so I could figure out exactly how big his vocabulary is. Not very interesting for most people reading, but interesting for me. :)
English words: Mommy Daddy apple key kitty Bubbie (our nickname for our cat Byron who lets Marc play with him) key doggy cheerios cheese shoe ducky row, row, row eieio that cracker bubble bottle yay yeah uh-huh no wheee thank you peaches (he really says "boogie" or "doogie", but it always means peaches) cookie meow Dora Elmo Ernie nose eye go bye-bye hello (sounds like "yo") night-night puppy ball teeth uh-oh Spanish words: abre (open) arbol (tree) agua (water) coqui Tata (his Grandpa) Read/Post Comments (0) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
