2005-02-15 10:53 AM Mommy, Daddy, Buppy Previous Entry :: Next Entry Read/Post Comments (3) We're making a language breakthrough! Starting last Wednesday, Marc has started using small sentences. His first was "Bye-Bye Nany" (who the heck is Nany???). He also says "Bye-Bye" and combines it with names he knows or "More, Mommy". He even (and please leave me with my delusion here) says "Bye Bye Mommy" and something that sounds like "I love you".
He's also started looking at our family pictures and pointing out the people in them. He points at our Christmas picture and say "Daddy, Mommy, Buppy!". For those that are wondering who "Buppy" is, we don't call Marc "Marc" or "Marcelo" or whatever we probably should be calling him... As a baby he growled a lot so we called him Puppy. And it stuck. So he calls himself "Buppy". His vocabulary is also growing, but his pronounciation could use a little help. Daddy is "Daggie", which sounds a lot like "Doggie" and "Ducky" so it can be a little hard to tell what he's talking about. Peaches are "Pebo" which sounds a lot like Big Bird ("Bee Buh") and pizza ("Pedah"). Grover is "Gwoby" which sounds like strawberry ("rawby").
