Marc is sick. Again. Last night he was waking up every 30 minutes with a coughing fit even after we gave him cough suppressant. Giving him medicine isn't a pretty picture. We basically have to have one of us hold him down on his back and hold his hands and the other one hold his head and squirt the medicine in his mouth. And even then half of it comes back out. It seems like torture even to me.

So I took him to the doctor today. Luckily everything looks ok, he just has a lot of mucus that drains down his throat and into his lungs while he's sleeping.

The even better news - after being stuck at 22 lbs for the past 6 months (between being sick and being a very active little boy, he burns a lot of calories), he's gained 2 pounds in the past 2 weeks! He had stomach flu 2 weekends ago and after that went away he's been a milk fiend. He's been eating pretty well too, but he's been particularly wanting a ton of milk. Now he's up to 34 inches and 24 pounds at 19 months.
