I have now really seen the saying "Shit rolls downhill" in action. Marc has seen the power structure and now has found someone below him. The cats. Last night, we were eating dinner and our cat Byron came into the kitchen and started eating his food. Marc shook his finger at him and said "No eat! Yucky!" I guess he learned well enough that he's not supposed to eat the cat food, but I had to explain to him that that's what the cats are supposed to eat. :)

He's also picked up on things I say to the cats. Byron is getting old and crotchety and gets fed up with the antics of the younger cats. When he starts hissing at one of them I usually say something like "Boys! Knock it off!" Now if Marc sees one of them doing something he doesn't think they should be doing, like going near the litter box, meowing at the door, etc, he points at them and furrows his brow and tells them to knock it off! LOL
