This morning makes a week of getting up at about 5:30am. Just as Marc is beginning to sleep through the night, I can't. He still wakes up a couple of times, but mostly it just requires me to go in and lay down with him until he's back asleep. Unfortunately, the better he sleeps during the night, the earlier he gets up in the morning, and with Marcelo's alarm going off at 5:30 and then activity in the house, Marc sees that as the signal that it's time to get up for the day.

It also doesn't help that on top of that, I'm up at least 3 times to pee and at least another half a dozen times just to change positions. Whichever side I'm sleeping on, that hip gets so painful that I have to wake up to change positions. I can't wait until I can roll over without waking up!

Last night, Alex wasn't comfortable in any position I was comfortable in. He was only happy when I was on my back and I can't stay like that for more than a few minutes without feeling like I'm suffocating. So I'd switch to my side and then he'd go crazy trying to get comfortable.

Mother Nature sure is smart. No matter how tough I know labor and the newborn phaze is going to be, I'm so ready for it just to get this over with. And at least then I'll have a sweet baby to snuggle. :)
