Marc was sitting on the stairs, taking his shoes off. I tossed them through the stairs into the place we store shoes.

"Don't push me into the shoe pile. I not a shoe. You can't wear me. I Puppy, da boy!"

"And we go in the car. And you drive and I sit in the car seat."
