My baby is walking! He can walk up to about 10 feet or so now before falling over! And I've seen it! (though I think I was the last person to actually see it...) I'd seen him make about 1 or 2 steps earlier this week, but yesterday I saw him make it quite a distance. He just stands up in the middle of the room and takes off. He's starting to try it as a mode of transportation, too. He doesn't automatically go to crawling. Marc started walking so early that I was sure Alex would be early, too. Especially since he's been walking holding onto things for months now. But it's still a thrill to see him working on and succeeding at a new skill!
